radcliffe camera @ night

This is the Radcliffe Camera in Oxford. Apparently the story goes that a wealthy gentleman, John Radcliffe, donated a hefty sum to Oxford University to be used for building a science library. His particular request that it definitely not be used for the arts. The money was used to build this beautiful building, which is, in fact, an arts library (although granted it did start out as a science library). Sorry Radcliffe old boy.

Superb. The two lit windows are the perfecting touch. Well done.

  2. Robert says:

Outstanding. I really like the sweep of the clouds from the long exposure.

  3. David H-W says:

Quality of light is good & that sky just helps to set the building off perfectly.

    Perfect shot!
